In 2008 choreographer Eva-Cecilie Richardsen invited me to join her team for the production of a new work for Carte Blanche, the Norwegian national ensemble for contemporary dance. I performed on-stage with my noise-setup, shaking the dance-stage thouroghly, for performances in Bergen and Oslo.

Bergens Tidende wrote:
Alibi is characterized by Bjørnar Habbestad’s electronically processed flute and sound. The flute is almost like a fifth actor. It is stripped down and physical, and the expression is distorted through the electronics. We hear the keys and the musician’s breathing. It fits well with Richardsen’s choreographic concept. In the choreography, the revealed and veiled in relationships and communication shines through most strongly in the many duos. Gathering and repulsion. Touching, throwing off. Contradictions and counter-reactions in repeated actions are the mainstay.
