Respirator

Respirator is an ongoing development project for the creation of a of a multimodal hyperinstrumental performance environment for real time synthesis and processing interaction between SuperCollider and Bjørnar Habbestads electroacoustic flute. The project draws upon the rich sonic content of Habbestads hardware based electroacoustic instrument and the digital control from Jeff Careys control system MKeys, later developed into Modality

 

Coelacanth

 5.5 hour theatrical event by Winter Guests. Music by Jørgen Knudsen and Bjørnar Habbestad.

Beins/Habbestad

Collaboration with Berlin-based improvisor Burkhard Beins, second in a series of collobartions set in Norwegian Seamen’s Churches. Final concert performin in Oslo in 2011.
