On June 3, I had the privilege of participating in In Nono’s Footsteps, a centennial tribute to Luigi Nono at the Bergen International Festival. Held in the University Aula, the event wove together symposium and concert under the theme of Nono’s sonic radicalism.

I contributed both as a speaker—sharing reflections on my research into Nono’s work—and as a performer, presenting two pieces by Salvatore Sciarrino. It was a powerful opportunity to explore how political and sonic experimentation still resonate today, and how I continue to engage with that legacy in my own practice.
